NCPS Reunion 2008 - Nashville TN
May 16-17, 2008

 

NCPS will host an Open House on
Saturday, May 17
from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
at TCRM, 220 Willow Street.

The public is invited to attend, and view the displays
of memorabilia as well as watch NC&StL
model trains run on the layouts.

Free admission; but donations always gratefully accepted.

As the site of main offices of the original Nashville & Chattanooga Railway and the subsequent Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway, Nashville has always played an important role in railroad history.

Come Home to Nashville

The weekend of May 16-18, 2008, Nashville will be the location of the annual NCPS Reunion.

As usual, the Reunion will include former employees, speakers, modeling clinics, modeling contest, displays, side trips to areas of interest, and the Annual NCPS Business Meeting.

All activities will be based at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum at 220 Willow Street.

Hotel base will be at the Clubhouse Inn and Suites Nashville, located at 2435 Atrium Way.

To make reservations, please call (615) 883-0500 and be sure to mention NC&StL.

Check-in will begin at TCRM about noon on Friday, followed by a 2:00 road trip tour of Nashville, including Dutchmans Curve, old shops, and more.

Return to TCRM for speakers and dinner, then off to tour a model layout.

On Saturday, we will host a free Open House for the public while many attendees are taking TCRM's train ride. Plan to arrive at TCRM no later than 8:30 am for a 9:00 train departure.

Saturday afternoon will include speakers, clinics, and time to run trains; plus voting for the Model Contest, and time for chatting before dinner and more speakers, followed by awards for Model Center and drawings for door prizes.

For the ladies, or those not interested in railway activities, there will be a multitude of side trips.

We will have a list of suggested area activities for those wanting to spend more time in Nashville on Sunday.

Registration prices are as follows, and include dinners both Friday and Saturday evenings.

  • $44 - Member
  • $54 - Non-member
  • $22 - Spouse
  • $36 - Saturday Train Ride - also includes Lunch
  • $10 - late fee applies to any registration after May 7.
