See the public recorded deed of Memorandum Agreement included survey plat (Book 2727, Page 097) between NC&STL Railway and Union Railroad Co. as recorded in the Shelby County Register's Office, Tennessee.
See NC&STL Railway map (June 19, 1941) between Mississippi River and Aulon Tower.

The first train rolled along the new NC&STL Railroad Overpass near
Christian Brothers College on Nov. 27, 1952, marking completion of an important
phase of the modernization project along East Parkway. The entire section from
Central to Union is expected to be ready for use by Christmas. Photo & contributed
by Commercial Appeal issued on November 27, 2007.
This view is toward Lenox Station looking west. I believe this picture was taken by
the photographer alittle bit earlier than 9:55 am while NC&STL's 3rd class train
no. 151 at the fast freight train heading for Aulon Tower and going east. You may
see NC GP-7 #752 is hauling 12 mixed freight cars included a caboose departing
from Lenox Station.
