      The Bruceton to Memphis segment of the Paducah & Memphis Division didn't receive any more advanced method of operation than timetabale/train order       operation until CTC installation was completed around September 1954.

      CTC = Centralized Traffic Central (no block signals). See Page 42 and Page 43 of NC&STL's "What CTC Did for the Dixie Line" article from the
